This thread will morph, so return. The most-common decal -- possibly for the entire history of the human race. BUT NEVER FORGET: "silver before black, gold before silver." [Cort 2014 hss] I don't know this has any reflection on quality, but it does seem to describe aftermarket valuation -- if yer gonna spend $50 on an Affinity, might as well take any edge you can. The gold Standard. [Cort 2001] From 2014 with "ICS" (aka WTF) prefix. China don't care, 2012. Nobody don't care. [no ID markings observed] Korea [VN prefix] A transitional Korea VN. Extremely boring Afinity -- black w/white sss -- but CBS headstock. They travel in groups.
An interesting variant in the Bullet decal.
Another decal.
If you buy a used Squier on line, and are dismayed that it turns out to be a toy, you've got nobody to blame but yourself. But I do kinda like how they still used TWO string trees.
Another deep-blue hardtail, but with an oddity: Though a Squier Bullet, it has the "Affinity Series" headstock tag. Factory error? Transitional?
Standard HT Strat config, Samick, diamond-can tuners, no skunk stripe or truss hole liner. Cort 2004, diamond cans, skunk stripe. Note the string tree locations.
An oddball. The decal says Rogue ST-3 by Squier, echoed by a neck-heel sticker ("ROGUE ST-3/WHT"). Note the odd headstock shape. The serial number (IS91000525) is clearly Samick Indonesia, but I doubt it's 1991, more likely (as with contemporaneous Washburn) October 1999.
Another oddity. VN- serial number, early Korea. I'm bidding on it just for the colors -- well, and it seems to be in very good condition. Wow; what are the freakin' odds that ANOTHER would show up?
