Introduced in 1940, the Multimonica combined a fan-powered reed organ with one of the earliest commercial examples of analog synthesis, using the electronics to shape the "pure" reed tone. It's a sort of tabletop accordion run through a microphone which is routed to an effects box. I still have no idea of the tonal/timbral differences between the two manuals. This is a postwar Multimonica II. The devices were made at least through the 1950s.
