The Rotomatic tuners are good enough that they are being counterfeited. Been going on for year, but it's really getting annoying. As I say too often, pretty much any production guitar that's shipped with Rotomatics is probably a half-decent guitar. If the company didn't give a damn about construction, they certainly wouldn't buy someone else's branded hardware, and would opt either for the house brand (bought by the truckload) or generics. I have a Lyon LCT24 with branded Jinho copies of the Roto that are actually quite good. I'll never figure out why other companies go to such great pains to make fake Grovers when the same effort could produce a tuner that's inexpensive AND legally sellable.
