{originally published January 03, 2013; heavily edited so as not to mislead casual readers}Interesting coincidence: Back around 2004 or something, I bought a shiny black Telluride h-s-s, my first single-coil, and I love the old thing -- especially as it cost me $58 new. Naturally, the maker/importer had got overextended and gone bankrupt, because what Tony Raven Guitar Fave tale would be complete without THAT ending? Anyhow, info on the company was VERY hard to find, but I found a draft copy of their catalogue at the site of the graphic designer... who as it happens also did a turn for ASC (= American Sejung Corporation): Telluride catalogue{The S101 website is long defunct, and even the Internet Archive Project can't find images of the electric guitars, which is a shame as my notes recommend "a couple of nice-looking Gibsonish semis, three Rose-laden post-Strat shredders, some LP-alikes" -- the usual fare, in other words -- plus "the ET-34 in Hunter Green Burst, the ETP-44 in Flame Yellow Gold, and the DA-4," the latter being a dreadnought with flashy edge-binding.}Not content with that eye-candy, I went back to search-engining... & found that S101 Guitars México had a LOT more cool toys, not the least being: (The blue h-h is a Lace Huntington. The vee is an SVK. The spiff bass is a Brubaker.) added note: This appears to be the source of the bass design: Brubaker Musical Instruments
