I can't play harmonica worth a damn. However, I've enjoyed looking at them since I was a kid, largely because Grandpa sent a big shiny Chrometta (with snap-front red vinyl case) from Germany. A few years ago, before The Great (If Somewhat Boring) Pandemic, while guitar hunting, I'd sometimes throw a bid of a few dollars at a Goodwill auction, and find myself winner of one or a few Hohners. I rationalized that they were cheap, I could learn how to clean them properly, maybe I'd finally learn basic technique, and with any luck I could recover my investment on Reverb.com. Sure, sometimes I get obsessive, but there are limits. I have forced myself to drop out of an auction at the $100 mark, for a mint Suzuki with an SRP of $400 -- how many other chances would I have to see one up close? -- because I didn't see recouping my investment quickly or easily. Logic MUST prevail. Anyway. Until I get around to more photos of my little hoard, this will almost entirely be a repository of images linked from the stuff of other people, and perhaps some data. Info will accumulate on this board at random. Bon chance!
