The Polyphonia family appears to be made up of bass instruments. They are differentiated by numbers, and I see references to #2, #4, #5, #6, #7, and of course #8. You old-timers may recall the instrument in the credit music of the Sanford and Son TV series, and prominently in the musical bed of the Green Acres series as the bass instrument. This one is just what you'd expect: three harmonicas bolted together. A "blow-only" accompaniment instrument. Rather than individual notes, it's intended to provide a bass note and a chord, bouncing from left to right and back again. The #8 is not three keys -- a dozen each of major, minor, dominant 7th. Listed at $430.49 + $34.22 -- for some reason it is MUCH cheaper to ship used stuff from Italy than from France.
